Sunflower Sequence

Every summer sunflowers are planted along the edge of the brussel
sprout fields on Sunset Beach Road, Watsonville.

Unhappy Accident

Photographers love to use the term “a happy accident” to describe a
   successful photograph that happened by chance. Above is an “unhappy accident”. I’m not 100% sure what happened. 
My guess would be it has something to do with heat. There’s the blotchy grey areas and the frame numbers showing in the photo. It’s a mystery. Too bad! This roll was from a classic day walking on South County beaches.

Sunday Walk

A few scenes from a Manresa to Sunset Beach walk last Sunday.
I carried a Holga film camera. The goal was to shoot a roll of film.
Surfers, beachcombers and fishermen. All the usual suspects!
