My cousin Diane made this Polaroid, Christmas, 1979.
Dad would have been 93 today. Happy Birthday!

State Route 25

If you’re traveling to Pinnacles National Park and headed for the east
gate you’ll have an opportunity to check out Highway 25.
On a Monday in December it was nearly empty. No cars ahead.
No cars behind. It feels like old California
It’s road trip ready. Small towns (Tres Pinos population 476), cattle ranches, an occasional vineyard and lonely trees. Not yet an offically designated “scenic highway” it certainly fits my definition.
All photos made with a Polaroid One Step2.

Polaroid Olive

One of the positives of “sheltering in place” has been the presence of
Olive. Gardener, chef, shopper and political commentator, she is
always bright, fun and helpful.

Olive

Polaroid Olive in the alley studio. This camera and film combo is totally
unpredictable. Don’t ask me why the white border turned green.

Summer Scene

There’s a learning curve with the Polaroid OneStep2 camera. The film is
unforgiving. The composition works best if it’s a fairly tight frame.
And, bright light helps. My summer project!
