Yesterday the Santa Cruz Sentinel ran a nice story on my Homeless Garden Project photo display. If you haven’t seen it, check out the Rittenhouse Building windows at the corner of Pacific Ave. and Church St. The photos are on the Church St. side facing Urban Outfitters. Thanks to city editor, Julie Copeland, reporter,Terri Morgan and photographer, Shmuel Thaler for making it happen! Here’s a link to the story:

Yesterday at the 11th annual Southwest Regional Barista Competition. It’s being held at the top of the Rittenhouse Building.
It’s a fun event. It’s great to see people that are really into what they do (and brew). And, FOURBARREL from San Francisco was making free espressos and cappuccinos- tasty stuff!

I've been upgrading my operating system and every piece of software I use, hence the lack of blog posts this week. By the end of the day(s) the last thing I wanted to do was futz around on the computer. There is much to be said for analog but one still has to scan those images, get them cleaned up and posted. There is no getting around digital.
