Wandering Bergen

Cool cat and tattoo convention poster.

Something about this wall and colorful fabric caught my eye.

Street art.

Vigeland Sculpture Garden

If you’re in Oslo, you must visit the Vigeland Sculpture Garden in Frogner Park. There are 212 granite and bronze sculptures by Norway’s number one sculptor, Gustav Vigeland, on display. Unique is an understatement!

Street Scene

These three photos are quick iPhone grab shots.

Small scenes that caught my eye.

Simple street photography, hopefully giving you a feel for Copenhagen.

Baghaven

Baghaven means back harbor. The area is 20 minutes by bike or bus from the Central City and across from the Little Mermaid. It’s old brick warehouses, steel containers, docks and open space. It’s got a very different feel than the city.

Mikkeller has opened a brewpub there. Next door there’s a skateboard park and what looks like a container village being developed. I’d say this area is going to be the next big thing in CPH.

Scandinavian Spring

I’m just back from almost a month in Scandinavia. First stop, Copenhagen! Still the world’s number one bike city!

Public transportation and walking are popular too!

These photos were made in the Nørrebro neighborhood. Definitely one of the coolest and most interesting neighborhoods in the city! There are all sorts of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and a young, diverse (for Denmark) demographic.

A Few More

A few more photos from the “March For Our Lives” last week.

It was inspiring to see you many young people demonstrating.

Change is coming!

Lyon Street Stairs

A quick grab shot at the top of the Lyon Street Stairs in San Francisco. Check it out next time you’re in SF. Tourists, athletes working out and people like these two looking for a spectacular photo background.
