I’m currently working on a series of hand colored, silver prints from travels in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. All the photographs were made with plastic Holga cameras. The film was hand developed, prints were made in a darkroom, toned and hand colored. This one is from Plaza de Santa Ana, Madrid, Spain. One of my favorite plazas in Madrid!

Every tackle box is different. New, neat and tidy. Old, battered and messy. It’s a fishing thing.

This is a recently printed and handcolored Holga snap. Seemed to fit with the weather we’ve had for the past couple of days.

This is a salt mining area in Las Salinas, Dominican Republic. The place had an empty, post apocalyptic feel that I kind of liked. I made this photo in Fall 2010 and recently did a finished print and hand colored it.

I posted a similar scene on November 9, 2013. That photo was made with a digital camera. This one with a Holga and black and white film. I applied a bit of color with Marshall’s oil paints and pencils. Montreal along the Saint-Lawrence River.
