Polaroid Olive in the alley studio. This camera and film combo is totally
unpredictable. Don’t ask me why the white border turned green.

It’s always challenging to do street portraits but the rewards make it worth while.
Emily was bright and fun to talk with. It was a memorable New York encounter and
the photo was successful. Thanks Emily.

A little further away than the average portrait. But, when I saw Orlando
standing there, it was the whole scene that caught my eye. He was OK with the photo idea but a little perplexed about why. This photo was made with 35mm black and
white film. Check @jonnycakes7 for a color iPhone version.

Brenna on break, Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz
Her rings, watch and tattoo caught my eye.
We talked and I made a few photos with my iphone.
I posted a similar photo on Instagram. Check it out @jonnycakes7
