Watertank Art

Two of the water tanks on the Chinquapin fireroad, UCSC.
Seen this morning on a mountain bike ride. I love how the art changes!

Lomo LC-A 120

I bought a new “toy camera” while back. The Lomo LC-A 120.
It fairly compact and has it’s own aesthetic.
I haven’t used it that much but I like the look. More to come!

On the Wall

One of the things I like about big cities is the art on the walls. This mural was in
a pulque bar in Xochimilco.
Street scene in the Roma neighborhood.
Layers of posters, Condesa neighborhood.
Poster and sunflowers, Jamaica flower market.

Bombay Beach Redux

More public art from Bombay Beach, Salton Sea.
What shall we watch tonight?
The space and apocalyptical look of the Salton Sea area adds to the impact of the art.
The space capsule has landed!

George Floyd

I was biking along the frontage road near New Brighton Beach
when I saw this poster honoring George Floyd,  Breonna Taylor,
Ahmaud Arbery….

It seemed like such a random spot to post this powerful image. I
thought I’d see others as I continued my ride. This was the only one.
Beautiful artwork and a strong message.
