Ball and Bricks

The geometric shapes, texture and contrast caught my eye.

Orlando

A little further away than the average portrait. But, when I saw Orlando
standing there, it was the whole scene that caught my eye. He was OK with the photo idea but a little perplexed about why. This photo was made with 35mm black and
white film. Check @jonnycakes7 for a color iPhone version.

Early morning SUPer hoping for a few more waves at the tailend of a
south swell.

Pool Panorama

4th of July at the Farm pool after the softball game is always a scene.
There’s pool toys, Marco Polo, all sorts of conversation and flying beach balls.
At a certain point, peace is restored.

Summer Scene

There’s a learning curve with the Polaroid OneStep2 camera. The film is
unforgiving. The composition works best if it’s a fairly tight frame.
And, bright light helps. My summer project!

Movement

Things have been so busy lately that the blog posts have fallen off.
Here’s one from the 4th of July I like.

Lines, contrast and a guy on a bicycle.
Made a few days ago at the Boardwalk.
