Mike in Motion
Last night at the Davenport Roadhouse. Jonny Hoy and the Bluefish are playing a benefit show for the Homeless Garden Project and the Pacific School Food Lab. The place is packed. Mike is mixing drinks, waiting tables, and making sure everyone is happy. He and the rest of the Roadhouse staff are friendly and professional and never seem to get flustered. It was great fun to sit at the bar and watch the crew at work!

Southwest Regional Barista Competition! First time ever in Santa Cruz! If you like coffee check it out. Pictured here, the Java Junction crew making some top notch cappuccinos. The competition continues Saturday and Sunday at the top of the Rittenhouse building.
