Brook

Brook sells paintings on East Cliff Drive. Sometimes he's set up near Twin Lakes Beach and sometimes 38th Ave. He has the ideal surfers life style. He lives in Bali most of the year. There he surfs and paints surfscapes with perfect cosmic looking waves, empty beaches and palm trees. In Santa Cruz he surfs and sells paintings.

Amsterdam Bikes

Maybe you've seen the sign as you passed the windmill on East Cliff Drive? Free air and oil too! Inside the shop is a visual delight. Bikes, parts, cluttered workbench, posters on the walls. Tom does good work too.

L.A.

If you're ever in Pasadena around lunch time stop in at the Pasadena Sandwich Company. My cousins Meghan, Kaytee, Nicole and Jon are carrying on their dad's tradition of great food and friendly personal service.

Lunch time rush and Kaytee and Nicole are making BIG, tasty sandwiches. They never stopped moving the whole time we were there.
